Agriculture Engineer

Role description :

Agriculture Engineer at Talrop will be responsible for handling agricultural and agri-tech projects with a focus on sustainability, implementing these projects, teaching and inspiring students and developing innovative agricultural solutions. This role combines practical engineering expertise with academic responsibilities to foster a learning environment that encourages curiosity and innovation.

Responsibilities :
Lead and manage agricultural and agri-tech projects, ensuring they align with sustainable practices and are effectively implemented.
Conduct classes, workshops and seminars to educate and inspire students in agricultural engineering and technology. Develop course materials and curricula that stimulate student curiosity and engagement.
Conduct research on current agricultural issues and develop innovative solutions to address them. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in agriculture and agri-tech.
Integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of project work and teaching. Promote awareness of environmental impact and resource conservation among students and colleagues.
Work with other academic staff to foster collaborative projects and research opportunities. Engage with the agricultural community to understand and solve real-world problems.
Provide academic and technical support to students working on agricultural projects.
Skills required :
Expertise in agricultural machinery, equipment and technology.
Strong knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices.
Excellent teaching and communication skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
Passion for education and mentoring.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy or a related field.
